About the Event
All-star football was introduced to Lee County by teacher and sports official John Carrigan in 1989. It was the first county-wide organized game in the state of Florida and has continued to be a fixture in local high school football. Events include a celebratory banquet and football game under the lights of Edison Stadium. Proceeds from each year’s All-Star Classic go to fund charitable giving to worthy causes in our local community.
